We offer two kinds of scholarships. Dollars for Scholars scholarships are for high school seniors and college students living in western Washington to study French at a college or university in Washington. Goldmark Scholarships are for students who want to study in Nantes, France. These scholarships are awarded by Seattle-Nantes Sister City Association in honor of the Goldmark Family of Seattle.
Seattle-Nantes Sister City Association is composed of individuals and organizations interested in promoting close ties between the people of Seattle and Nantes, France.
Its goals are to advance educational, cultural, and commercial relations between Seattle and Nantes, and to inform and educate the public about our sister city. To further these goals, the association established Seattle-Nantes Dollars for Scholars to encourage young people to study French language and culture and build a desire to visit or study in Nantes. +
